December 11th - Group Class (Infant CPR & Baby Care 101)
This group class offers Infant Safety & CPR in the morning session (9:30am - 11am), and what to expect during the "Fourth Trimester" in the Baby Care 101 class in the afternoon session (12pm - 4pm). Take one or both classes! You'll leave this class confident for your new roles as parents!

About the event
During this in-person class, you can take one or both classes. Each class will depend on your needs and stage of pregnancy/parenthood journey.
Infant Safety & CPR Class (9:30am - 11am):
Ideal for expecting or new parents of infants, grandparents, nannies, or any caregiver of infants younger than 12 months. This class will discuss:
- Choking vs. Gagging
- Choking Relief for Infants
- Back Blows & Infant CPR
- Food Safety & Hazards
- Water Safety Basics
- Baby Proofing Beginning
Infant Safety & CPR Group Class $50/person
* 1 hour break for lunch (11am - 12pm) *
Baby Care 101 Class (12pm - 4pm):
This class is intended for first-time expecting parents, ideally taken in the 3rd trimester. This class will cover:
- Getting Ready for Baby - How to Prepare the Home and Nursery
- Life After Baby - Recovery from Birth, Managing Relationships
- Your Amazing New Baby - Appearance, Reflexes, Cues
- Caring For, Feeding and Soothing Your New Baby
- Breast and Bottle Feeding - Latch, Positions and Tricks
- Play for Development, Growth Spurts and Healthy Sleep Habits
- Babywearing, SIDS, Crying
