ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Cassie! I'm the mom of two fun and sweet boys, CJ and Carter. I've been married to my amazing husband since 2010. And I am a Postpartum Doula, Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), New Parent Educator and American Red Cross CPR Instructor based in Orange County, California. I serve families in Orange County along with areas in Riverside, San Diego and Los Angeles counties.
I am so passionate about the work that I do with each family. Whether it's helping a new mom establish her milk supply, cuddling a new baby through the night so parents can get some much-needed rest, teaching first-time parents how to bathe their baby, or helping a seasoned parent work on a daytime routine to ensure harmony for their family, I am honored to be supporting them! BREASTFEEDING for PROFESSIONALS WORKSHOP
I attended a 3-hour Breastfeeding for Professionals Workshop taught by International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Melissa Johnson. During this class we learned in-depth skills and techniques to help support breastfeeding and/or pumping mothers and their babies to achieve their nursing goals.

ADVANCED TRAINING: WORKING with MULTIPLES
This 8-hour Advanced Training: Working with Multiples Workshop taught by Certified CAPPA Instructor, Kimberly Bepler. This class covered various topics surrounding caring for multiples, including general care, feeding styles, soothing multiples, recommended products, tricks to share with parents and more.

BABYWEARING for PROFESSIONALS WORKSHOP

I attended a 8-hour Babywearing for Professionals Workshop taught by Certified Babywearing Instructor, Laura Brown. During this class we learned various benefits of baby carrying, compliance and regulation standards, positioning and safety guidelines, troubleshooting and hands-on practice with various carriers (including soft structured carriers, wraps and ring slings).
CPR INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP & CERTIFICATION
Extensive training through the American Red Cross in order to be an instructor to teach CPR, First Aid and AED use for Adults, Children and Infants in a classroom setting and for certification.

SLEEP CONSULTING WORKSHOP

I attended industry-leading International Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Sleep Consultant, Summer Hartman's comprehensive 18-hour sleep consulting workshop. This extensive class covered ways to establish healthy sleep habits from the start, helping to troubleshoot various sleep concerns, tips on creating a sleep plan, various techniques for sleep training and coaching parents through the process of implementing sleep training.
INFANT MASSAGE COURSE
May 2021
The Infant Massage Course was taught by Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Pamm Klieman. This was a hands-on, 6 hour course, where we learned the science behind infant massage, stroke and massage techniques and how to teach parents to do infant massages.
NEW PARENT EDUCATOR WORKSHOP
This New Parent Educator Course was taught by Certified NPE Instructor, Laura Nance, through CAPPA. This was a through, 20-hour course, where I learned various learning/teaching styles, educational support topics to review with new and expecting parents, ways to navigate sensitive topics.

February 2021
Certified by Newborn Care Specialist Association (NCSA), I completed the requirements needed to meet the standard as a Certified NCS, including 1,400 hours of newborn care provided.
NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST TRAINING
January 2017
Attended a Gentle Blessings 2 day, 16 hour workshop in Los Angeles, Ca. This workshop focused on learning about newborn care, sleep shaping, safety standards adhering to AAP guidelines and much more.
POSTPARTUM DOULA TRAINING
May 2015
I attended a DONA International 27 Hour Postpartum Doula Workshop in San Francisco. This class was focused on learning about how to care for and nurture a new mother, family and baby.
